Following the success of Wild Swans, Devonshire road, Chiswick – Danish owner, Caroline van Luthje, opened the sister shop in Cross Street, Islington and has now opened the third Wild Swans – in Mill Hill, North London. All three locations have the ‘London Village’ feel – a delightful mix of cutting edge designer boutiques, niche bespoke products and services, fine cafes and restaurants with a relaxed ‘hidden away,’ timeless quality.
The Islington shop has a bright, soothing ambience that reflects contemporary Scandinavian style and sensibility - attracting attention from discerning shoppers and fashion media.
The name comes from the fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen's "The Wild Swans" and perfectly describes the range of Designers as well as the customers "Beautiful, gracious birds with a bit of an edge."
Caroline mixes up and coming designers with the more established ones and is constantly adding new designers that are not represented in the UK and are exclusive to Wild Swans.
The labels include Malene Birger, the award winning Danish Designer, Day Birger et Mikkelsen, stylish Ann Louise Roswald, The feminine Malou Sander "Muus", funky Rutzou, cool Rabens Saloner, Hanne Bloch, Classy Naja Lauf, Swedish Zetterberg and American Vintage.
Wild Swans also has a great range of shoes and boots for A/W from Bili Bi's funky boots, Penelope Chilvers' classic riding boots, Pretty Ballerinas and evening shoes from Jamie Mascaro.
In Jewellery you will find beautiful contemporary pieces from Danish Julie Sandlau and Jane Konig and Swedish Promise, all with very different styles to suit any occasion and budget.
